Hi, I'm Megan. I'm the hygienist here at Willis & Associates Family Dentistry - Churchville, where I've been lucky to be a part of the office for the last six years. I just recently returned from maternity leave, and it's been really nice being back and seeing so many familiar faces.
One thing I love most about being a hygienist is my patients and their families, and getting to build relationships with them while taking care of them.
We are currently having a dental hygiene shortage, and because of that, we're noticing longer than usual wait times and fewer appointments available. Many patients are going longer than they normally would between visits simply because they can't get an appointment.
The good news is, we do have room for you in our schedule, and we are welcoming new patients.
So whether you've been putting off your appointment because you haven't been able to get one, or you're nervous or embarrassed, there's no need to be. Dr. Atul Agrawal leads the dental care at the Churchville office, bringing the technical scope of a city-trained dentist to a community practice that has served western Augusta County since 1950. Patients here see one dentist who handles the cleaning, the crown, the root canal, and the implant, without the referrals out to Staunton or Charlottesville that other practices would require.
Dr. Agrawal earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of California, San Francisco, one of the top-ranked dental schools in the United States, after completing a Master of Science in Oral Biology at the University of Louisville. His clinical training spans the full range of family and cosmetic dentistry: implant placement and restoration including All-on-X full-arch rehabilitation, root canal therapy on molars, surgical extractions, removable and fixed prosthodontics (dentures, crowns, and bridges), esthetic restorations, scaling and root planing, Invisalign clear-aligner orthodontics, and CAD/CAM (digital scanning) same-day work that means no goopy impression trays and no second appointment for many crown cases.
